That is a fantastic sun dog you have captured! On rare occasions when it is cold and the sun is low in the sky it is possible to see upto four of them around the sun. Usually you see one or two, I was lucky enough to have seen 3 once in my life.
A perfect photo for skywatch. I love this kind of accidents. I must say this is the first time I have ever heard the term "sundog". So thank you for showing me what it is:-) Beautiful sky. Happy skywatching.
